Hahaha ohhh gosh you just asked a complicated question. Um, I'm from Florida (US), BUT. My mom's from Rhode Island, and so I ended up with a Rhode Island/New England/kind of like a not-so-bad Boston accent, and of course picked up on the idioms from her too. However, I'm doing my best to get up to Boston for grad school, so then people will stop being really confused by this whole explanation and I can just say I'm from Boston :P
