Awwww thanks! My personal cannon is that it's all (well, mostly) Ianto's fault that they're not more open. Sure, Jack has the whole immortality thing, but once in love, he's full-blown given himself over, and he would gladly tell Ianto how he feels. But Ianto's too scared: scared how how he feels, scared that one day he'll hurt Jack with his death, &c &c.
