I bloody loved the last line of Jack's! Loved it! And I remember, when I read this, I laughed because my first idea was something very similar (to the point where I was going to use a ball to link the two different memories as well).

The fics were all great this week - hence the huge pile up of fics with one vote. I had trouble choosing a favourite. I didn't like mine much at all and was pretty sure I'd be going (I checked the results peeking through my fingers) so I'm bloody thrilled I'm still in.

(although I loathe this week's prompt in a way I've loathed no prompt before. I think I'm going to use my last skip. The coming prompts cannot be worse than this one.)
