Yeah see I think Jack summed it up best. 'the Doctor always tried to do what was right for the most amount of people'. He thinks this is defending him but really it's why the Doctor won't necessarily be trying to save Gwil from being sent back. So I'm glad that Ianto isn't leaving it all in the Doctor's hands!
