amulyAh, I wasn't going to do this, but there were too many BOSTON moments I noticed this epi, so I had to.
First off:
Eeee Citco sign!!
If you're from Boston, or a fan of the Red Sox, you'll know why spotting that sign is cool.
You see the Citco sign there, right? The big red triangle for the gas station? Well, that's just kind of neat because it's a sign you can see from Fenway Park: home of the Boston Red Sox. So look to the left of the sign...see the stadium lights? There's Fenway!! Awesome shot of the city ^.^
-Woman collapsing at the beginning: I feel like I'm watching House.
-*snort* Arcadia. That was the name of a planet in these silly sci-fi books I used to read.
-Hehehe angry!Eliot w/ the coffee ^.^ Also - Eliot and Hardison getting coffee together? Or leaving each other's house in the morning? Huuurm
-Although I don't ship Parker/Hardison, I love how pissy she's being while the client girl fawns over Hardison. Or, as she puts it: Alec. *snorkle*
-I like that Hardison knows that Eliot is changing his shirt. Hurm? Ship!monster says what?
-AHH! I've been to that oyster house!:
That's Union Oyster House!! It's all famous because it's supposedly where Ben Franklin and cool Revolution dudes used to eat. Over in the North Quarter (best part of Boston. Hurm? Italian what?)
Also, if you look very closely:
See where yellow jacket guy is? Look at the ground. It's barely visible, but there's a red line on the sidewalk. Can you see it? Well that's part of the Freedom Trail ^.^ (More on that later, when Eliot brings it up).
-What the hell is this chick doing hanging around while they're doing Leverage-y stuff? ... ? I'm w/ Parker on this one.
-That's a Mac remote they're using on the tvs. Hahaha.
(There's a better shot of it as being the Mac remote later when Hardison's using it, but this is when I recognized it and took the screencap. I am not a Mac-whore, shut up!)
-I previously thought Parker might be just on this side of too skinny, but now that we got a good shot of her thighs I'm gonna revise and say she's just skinny, not like, bordering on anorexic or anything.
-That's also a Mac Hardison's got. They blanked out the apple, but check out the power cord:
-Ew! Paisley tie!
Even if that guy wasn't super evil, I would have hated him just for that tie. Gross.
-I like how Eliot looks uncomfortable/pissed off trying to seduce the chick he has to for the con. This pleases the shipper in me.
-THEY WALKED THE FREEDOM TRAIL!! Okay, this episode is like, Boston-orgasm for me. Multiple Boston orgasms ~.^
Remember the picture from earlier? With the Freedom Trail line? SEE! Genius!
Also, yeah, the Freedom Trail is fucking long. Miles and miles. And miles. And doing it in the summer (like I did once)? Ugh. Awful.
-GAHHH HE SAID BOSTON DUCK TOURS!! *faints*
(They're these car/boat dealies. It gives you a tour of Boston both on land and in the water. It's nifty.)
-This look made me happy. I'll have to make an icon, or something.
-I am suspicious of Parker tripping the alarm. It seems very unlike her.
-Hahahaha knew it. Nice try, Leverage writers.
Aaand that it's. Sorry. Boston!overload made me overly happy.
Also, if any of you need screencaps from this epi (or any others this season) I've got them in HD and huge size, so I can upload them up to photobucket for you if you want. I'm not going through the trouble right now, since they're just sitting in my picys folder, but I can if you want.

Because if not, that sign is a nice little Bostonian nod as well. (The last time the Sox won the World Series before the whole "Curse of the Bambino" thing was in 1918. They didn't win another World Series until 2004, when they broke the curse after 86 years. It's an important year for Boston.)
